What Fellow Status Represents
Fellow status recognises sustained professional contribution and advanced capability within enterprise value stream operating model design.
It reflects not only technical understanding but demonstrated leadership, structural judgement and contribution to the advancement of the Strategic Value Streams Body of Knowledge.
Fellow status is not awarded solely through examination.
Practitioner Examination Specification
Format: Multiple choice scenario-based, including both single best answer and multi-response
Delivery: Online remote proctored
Conditions: Closed book
Duration: 120 mins
Questions: 102
Pass mark: 60% [62 or more correct]
Result: Immediate result and certification with digital badge if successful
Eligibility and progression
Eligibility
Applicants must:
Hold Practitioner certification
Demonstrate professional experience in enterprise transformation or operating model design
Provide evidence of applied work aligned to Strategic Value Streams principles
Submit a structured professional statement
Attend a peer review panel (online or in-person as available)
Agree to uphold professional conduct standards
Fellows are expected to contribute to the development of the Strategic Value Streams discipline through discussion, refinement of concepts, examination contribution or thought leadership.
Fellow status carries responsibility as well as recognition.

Fellow assessment registration fee: £499
Retake policy
Your assessment fee includes an examination which offers a single resit at no charge. If you are unsuccessful in your first attempt, no charge is made for your second attempt. The assessment process is rigorous, passing the examination is no indicator of success in the process.
Fellow Status Validity and Renewal
Fellow status extends active certification validity by a further 36 months from the date of award.
Fellowship represents the most advanced credential within the Strategic Value Streams framework. Its validity governs overall certification standing.
If Fellowship expires and is not renewed, active certification status lapses. Renewal requirements are defined by the Strategic Value Streams review process and may include evidence of continued professional contribution.
Upon expiry, the digital Fellow badge and certificate are revoked. Expired Fellowship designation may not be presented as current standing.
This structured lifecycle ensures that certification at all levels reflects sustained engagement and ongoing contribution to the discipline.
